What I do at SYSPRO
I manage the development of SYSPRO Point of Sale and, our whole team, ensures the growth and enhancement of SYSPRO PoS.
Why SYSPRO
A company's culture is incredibly important and this starts right at the top and filters down through the company. Personally I have always believed you never work "for someone" but rather you work "with someone". SYSPRO's culture strongly supports this view and it creates a trusting relationship which is a pillar of lasting relationships.
Who am I?
I originally studied Electrical Engineering which had an small focused requirement of software development. I realized software development is much more inline with my passion and started working as a developer for a software startup company in 2006 which developed web sites that were integrated into SYSPRO. In 2014 SYSPRO acquired the main software product from the same company, currently called SYSPRO PoS, and I joined SYSPRO at the same time. I have worked with incredible people and grew substantially during this time period and looking forward to what the future holds with SYSPRO.
Advice for prospective candidates
Always be open, honest and sincere. If you are entering into any relationship with the intent to grow yourself and "the other party" with the aim to establish a long term relationship this will always be a great start.
